One in 300 young people have a heart condition that puts them at risk for sudden cardiac arrest, which is also the leading cause of death for student athletes. In collaboration with UC Davis Health, free heart screenings for students and young adults (aged 12-25) will be offered on Sunday, March 22nd at Rio Americano High School. These screenings can help identify potential heart conditions and provide families with valuable peace of mind. Registration is open now at www.kylejtaylor.org/screenings.

We would love to hear from our Third District PTA units if they participate - lifting up intentional kindness is a gift we can give to each other. Let us set the example for our youth and children. Thank you California Department of Education for leading this effort.

The starts soon! Schools that register and participate will be recognized as a Kindness Certified School and receive a certificate to proudly display on campus.

Third District PTA Unit Leaders! All PTA units need to complete the Workers Comp Report for compliance, even if your PTA does not have paid employees. Grateful! We are so grateful for all of the amazing PTA leaders and their families who joined us! We had the honor of celebrating some of our Reflections program artists, including highlighting some submitted artwork and watching one of our artists dance performances too. B Street Theatre provided our Third District PTA leaders and families with a special performance of Tis the Season with a Q&A with the actors afterwards. The questions from the kids were fantastic! We are so thankful for community partners like B Street Theatre for helping us celebrate our PTA leaders and families.
