May 7th is ๐˜ฝ๐™ž๐™œ ๐˜ฟ๐™–๐™ฎ ๐™ค๐™› ๐™‚๐™ž๐™ซ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ across all California nonprofits and we'll be honored if you support the foundation as we get closer to realizing the California Indian Heritage Center. Just two weeks ago, tribal leaders broke ground on Phase 1 - the Welcome Center, which is expected to be completed by this fall.

The Center aims to be a place where all California Natives can โ€œjust be," in the words of California Indian Heritage Center Foundation Chairperson Larry Myers. Your support of the foundation empowers Native leaders from across the state to shape the Center to best fit the needs of Californiaโ€™s diverse peoples.

"Now, 175 years into Californiaโ€™s statehood, we can finally say that we are following through on a commitment to honor the First People of this place,โ€ Christina Snider-Ashtari, Californiaโ€™s tribal affairs secretary, said recently.

We appreciate anything to help us make the best California Indian Heritage Center possible. You can give at the link below.
