Hello, everyone! My name is Anna and I’ve made making personalized and thoughtfully decorated greeting cards to mail to my friends and family a very much enjoyed hobby of mine. Not only do I get to make the day of someone who might be really needing a small gesture such as finding a card in the mail just for them, but making the cards is a fun and creative hobby that’s great for my mental health.
I’ve been wondering for a while how I can expand this hobby to make an impact on the community and individuals who are vulnerable, lonely, ill, or just would like to have something don’t special just for them! So I came up with the greeting card project Just Write!
Initially I focused on senior community living facilities, but I just kept thinking about how there are so many people across the country who could really benefit from a gesture of kindness.
So now this page is available! Through this page you can email [email protected] to request a personalized greeting card to be mailed to that person who may need a little brightness in their life. You’re welcome to include as much detail about the person your requesting for or just request a general card. You’re also very much welcome to request a card for yourself!
This project is completely on a volunteer basis. I buy all of my supplies and resources myself and make time to create and mail the cards in my off-time.
