Sacramento Senator Lions Club

We are the Sacramento Senator Lions Club, chartered in Lions Clubs International on May 14th, 1954.

We meet at 6:30pm, the 1st Thursday of every month at Aviator’s Restaurant, 6151 Freeport Blvd, Sacramento, 95822. The Sacramento Senator Lions Club was chartered in Lions Clubs International on May 14th, 1954. The Senator Lions Club belongs to District 4-C5 and resides in the Crocker Zone of the Sacramento Region. We proudly serve the greater Sacramento area and currently, we currently have over 95 members. We are always looking for more "service minded" people to help us in our efforts to server our community so if you are interested in learning about Lions and/or the Senator Lions Club please contact us. The Senator Lions Club participates in many local community service projects including sponsoring the U.C. Davis Children's Hospital, providing meals, toys and clothes to the needy via our Salvation Army partners, sponsoring both the Sacramento Zoo's Sensory Garden and Fairytale Town's Japanese Garden, and many more. We also participate in many work projects including helping to rebuild the Natomas playground that has been burned several times, maintaining both the Zoo's Sensory Garden and Fairytale Town's Japanese Garden and several other Lions work projects. More pics from the SIP BBQ at Society for the Blind…had a good time! They enjoyed their hot dogs and potato salad which was extremely tasty, made by David.

🦯 WHITE CANE DAYS — GIVE THE GIFT OF SIGHT! 👓💙

Join the Sacramento Senator Lions on October 9th & 10th as we raise awareness and support for people who are blind or visually impaired.

White Cane events help promote independence, mobility, and awareness for people with vision loss. Lions Clubs also help support vision programs, screenings, and access to eyeglasses for those in need.

👓 Have used eyeglasses? Bring them with you!
We’ll be collecting used eyeglasses on site to help give the Gift of Sight.

What a wonderful time we all had tonight at the Rio Linda Lions Club Western Ranch House BBQ! Lots of raffle prizes, good food and a great band! All proceeds go back into the community…
