The numbers are in! Sacramento Odd Fellows 2 along with El Dorado 8 and friends donated 450 toys which have now been sorted and packed ready for Santa's long ride.

M.E.Ch.A de la Met’s Chicanx Youth Leadership Conference will
Be at the Met Sacramento High School!
On Saturday May 11th, from 9am-4pm

This year, we are organizing a conference for around 200 students from 9-12th grade, with the theme, “Finding Our Voices Through Cultura, Historia, and Forward Thinking,” aimed to inspire and empower young Chicanx students to be leaders and advocates for themselves, their peers, and communities.

As M.E.Ch.A de Sac State’s annual Chicano Youth Conference has ceased, we are stepping in to fill the void, focusing on historical and artistic education, leadership, and community building among Chicanx students.

We invite you to register your Chicanx/Latinx/Mexican/Hispanic/Raza identifying student organizations, clubs, and individuals throughout Sacramento and neighboring counties. Workshops will include Political Power 101, community organizing, Chicanx History, Chicano art activities, post-graduation planning, and more.
