October 1 marks the beginning of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, also known as Pink October — a month dedicated to raising awareness, honoring those we’ve lost, celebrating survivors, and supporting those currently facing breast cancer.

At Albie Aware Breast Cancer Foundation, this mission is personal. Every day, we help people in the Greater Sacramento area navigate a breast cancer diagnosis by providing education, advocacy, patient support, and access to life-saving breast health services.

We’re excited to share a unique way to support Albie Aware this Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

The Exotic Body, Sacramento’s first piercing studio, is hosting Piercing for the Cure October 2–4 to raise funds for Albie Aware and help us continue supporting people in the greater Sacramento area who are facing breast cancer.

Three generous jewelry vendors have donated jewelry for the event, and 100% of the proceeds from the donated jewelry sales AND piercing fees will benefit Albie Aware!

Because of your incredible generosity during Big Day of Giving, Albie Aware Breast Cancer Foundation raised an amazing $7,006 to support life-saving early detection screenings in our community.

While we fell just short of our $7,500 goal, this was more than we could have imagined—and we are beyond grateful for every donation, share, comment, and act of support.

Your generosity will help provide approximately 28 women with early detection scans, giving them access to breast cancer screenings that could truly save lives.

At Albie Aware, we believe early detection changes outcomes, and thanks to YOU, more women in our community will receive the care and support they need.
