To better accommodate our guests and improve crowd flow, BUGTOPIA WILL OPEN EARLY TOMORROW, SUNDAY, AT 9:00 AM AND REMAIN OPEN UNTIL 5:00 PM!

🕘 NEW SUNDAY HOURS: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

We are extending our hours to give everyone more time to enter, explore the expo, shop with our vendors, and enjoy BUGTOPIA while allowing us to better manage the number of guests inside the venue.

🎟️ DIDN’T GET TO USE YOUR SATURDAY TICKET?

If you had a Saturday ticket but were unable to enter or did not use/scan your ticket, YOU MAY USE THAT TICKET FOR SUNDAY. You do not need to purchase another ticket.

After the extremely long waits many of you experienced Saturday, we are implementing a better crowd-control and admission system for Sunday.

⚠️ PLEASE EXPECT A LINE.

We are expecting another very busy day, and there may still be a significant wait, especially during peak hours. Opening an hour earlier and extending the event until 5:00 PM will help us spread attendance throughout the day.

Please do not feel that you have to arrive right at 9:00 AM. If your schedule allows, arriving later in the day may help you avoid the largest morning crowd.

Our team will be doing everything we can to keep the line moving, communicate updates, and safely accommodate as many ticket holders as possible.

BUGTOPIA IS SOLD OUT. No additional tickets will be sold online or at the door.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and especially for giving us the opportunity to do better tomorrow. We learned a great deal from Saturday, and our team is making changes tonight to provide a much smoother experience on Sunday.

IMPORTANT BUGTOPIA APOLOGY & SOLD-OUT NOTICE

To everyone who attended—or attempted to attend—BUGTOPIA today, I am deeply sorry.

Many guests waited far too long, with some waiting more than three hours. Some of you were ultimately unable to enter and had to be refunded. That is not the experience you paid for, planned for, or deserved.

You traveled, brought your families, rearranged your schedules, and trusted us to be prepared. We understand that receiving a refund does not give you back your time or make up for the frustration and disappointment you experienced today.

At several points, the venue reached its maximum safe occupancy, and we were required to pause admission. Safety had to come first, but our entry process, line management, and communication did not meet the standard our guests deserved. As the organizer, I take responsibility for that.

We should have communicated more clearly and responded more effectively. We sincerely apologize to everyone who was left waiting without enough information and especially to those who never made it inside.

BUGTOPIA is now completely sold out. No additional online or walk-up tickets will be available. Please do not travel to the venue unless you already have a valid ticket for the correct admission day.

We are urgently reviewing what happened today and making immediate changes to our admission, capacity, and communication procedures. We know that an apology is only the first step and that trust must be earned back through our actions.

To everyone we disappointed today: we are truly and sincerely sorry.
