The Asian Pacific Rim Foundation is non-profit organization that was established to:

1) Provide grants, funding, and scholarships to organizations that provide services to the Asian Pacific Islander communities in the Sacramento region

2) To broaden the understanding of the heritage, influences, and contributions of the Asian Pacific Islander communities

3) To promote and support Asian Pacific

Islander cultural, educational, and community programs and events, and

4) To financially aid local organizations with Asian Pacific Islander youth and senior programs.

The APRF kicks off Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month in HONOR of Frank Fats!

Since 1939 he is one of the first Chinese American Entrepreneurs who paved the way for Sacramento’s AAPI Community and founded The Sacramento Pacific Rim Festival in 1993!
