The men and women of CAL FIRE Local 2881 Fresno Kings Unit are extremely saddened by the loss of Detective Randy Hoppert. We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office for their loss.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our Local 2881 brother Christopher Ward who passed away while on duty yesterday. Our prayers are with his family during this difficult time. We are working with the Department, our Honor Guard, and Local 2881 Family Liaisons to assist his family and we will share memorial service details when they are available. Rest easy, brother 💔🙏
