National Night Out Pool Party at Grant High School was fabulous! We brought the State Fair to Del Paso Heights! Along with our beautiful swimming pool we had large water slides, a dunk tank, the riding bull bronco, Kona Ice Truck, Dilly Dally the Clown made a lot of kids happy with her balloon figures. Jerry the dancing Jalapeno entertained the crowd and was our DJ for the evening. There were raffle prizes, hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, juice boxes for the littles, free swimsuits for kids, sunglasses and more! Vendors provided FREE backpacks, school supplies and other fun stuff for children. One vendor took 15 applications for jobs for residents in the community!
When I tell you the community came out in droves...they did! We didn't get a count but by the food we had over 500 people there. Our student Lifeguards were on duty and luckily there were no issues! It was so much fun to hear the laughter from our kids and families. Our New Twin Rivers Superintendent Dr. Tu Caroz stopped by to join in on the fun and greet families in the community.
