We’ve been so fortunate to be able to help restaurants and fri tribe workers over the last year+. As John says, “FTFL916 was a stabilizer for us and a feel good project.” 😍👏🏻
Thanks for all your support. We’ll be here if you need us, but let’s hope we all get a break from COVID for a while. ❤️ ❤️

What time is it? It’s opening day for California and we delivered some celebratory lunches! Today marks the official end of COVID restrictions in many situations in Ca. We wanted to honor some at local nursing homes and The Waterleaf. 🎉👏🏻🙌🏽
They may still be wearing masks, but their smiles of relief are visible.
😍
Big thanks to fir making the fresh rice and veggie bowls and for the drinks to go with! ❤️

Skilled nursing facilities aren’t just for seniors. They include surgery rehab and post-acute care—all places with patients at high risk for COVID. The employees have worked hard to keep them safe. We’ve been thrilled to take them love and appreciation with the food deliveries all year. ❤️💐🍪
Help us continue to take them like we did today at Land Park (pic #1). DONATE at the link in our bio to help the folks at places like the Water Leaf, Saylor Lane, St. Claire’s Nursing Center, Midtown Oaks Post Acute, Pioneer House, Yolo Hospice, Wellspace Health, Bruceville Terrace, Capitol Transitional Care, Eskaton Greenhaven and Monroe Lodge, Gramercy Park, and McKinley Park Nursing. 👏🏽🙌🏻💪🏿

Who ya gonna call? 9-1-1 is the number we all memorize for emergencies. They’re our first responders for fire, accidents, and medical crises—putting themselves at risk every time. They can’t work from home, like all the frontline workers we serve. 🚑🚒👩🏾‍🚒⛑
We delivered meals to EMS workers as one of our first donations, for and
🙌🏻 🙌🏽🙌🏿to all of them as they answer our calls 24/7.

Countdown appreciation post #️⃣2️⃣ goes out to the Sacramento restaurants we’ve worked with this year. These small businesses have struggled to survive lockdowns and loss of customers. All the money we raised has gone to them to buy meals that we donate to healthcare workers. 🙌🏻
Please help us continue to support so they can survive the pandemic. DONATE at the link in our bio and buy meals and gift cards from your favorite local places. 👩🏽‍🍳🧑🏼‍🍳👨🏾‍🍳

We couldn’t have done our work this year without a small army of volunteers! Hats off (but masks on) to all the drivers, delivery helpers, and others who lent us their time and talents to make Feed the Frontlines 916 exist.

🙏🏼 to our founder Wendy Mikacich, Beth Abad, Stephanie Miyamoto, Heather Gordon, Erin and Greg Sabin, Meg Christian, Brooke Hankins, Rachelle Martin Bear, Evan Dunham, and more!

Your assistance helped boost morale for thousands of frontline workers and restaurant employees alike. We’ll tag as many of you as we can find, but please add anyone we’ve missed in the comments below. Stay tuned for more appreciation posts as we count down to 2021! ❤️

There are silver linings this year, and our work to help support Sac restaurants and frontline workers is a big one! 🙏🏼
Restaurants are still struggling. If you’re looking to make some year-end donations, we’d love to reach our goal of $100,000 paid directly to restaurants to make meals for healthcare workers. Can you help? DONATE at the link in our bio.❤️
Want to thank someone who helped you this year? Tell us when you donate and we’ll post a shout out to them here! Thank YOU for helping us to help others. 🎄

Day and night, the Respiratory Department works to help the sickest of the COVID-19 patients. To honor their hard work and resilience, we took not one but TWO meals today. Both day and night shifts got a chance to enjoy hot meals from ❤️
As an extra treat, we took some Love Balm samples from and some holiday themed masks from 🙏🏼 to both of them for their donations and kindness.👨🏽‍⚕️🧑🏿‍⚕️👩🏻‍⚕️
Take some time this holiday season to thank the people who made this terrible year more bearable. 🎄

Festive Feed the Frontlines Friday! We took TWO deliveries of hot meals and lovingly packaged homemade cookies to the employees at McKinley Park Care Center yesterday. 🎅🏼🧑🏾‍🎄
When we started these donated deliveries in April, we figured it would be for a couple of months. NINE months later, our healthcare workers are weary and need more support than ever. Please consider donating to allow us to pay local restaurants to make meals that we deliver safely. Thanks so much for allowing us to continue this morale boost! Donate at the link in our bio.
