(၇၈)နှစ်မြောက်ဖက်ဆစ်တော်လှန်ရေးနေ့ထုတ်ပြန်ကြေညာချက်

မကြာမီ ကျရောက်တော့မည့် မတ်လ(၂၇)ရက်နေ့သည် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတော်နှင့် ပြည်ထောင်စုဖွားတိုင်းရင်းသားတို့၏ ဖက်စစ်စနစ်ကို စတင်တော်လှန်ခဲ့သောနေ့ဖြစ်၍ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏သမိုင်းတွင် ဖက်ဆစ်တော်လှန်ရေးနေ့အဖြစ် သတ်မှတ်ကာ မတရားမှုမှန်သမျှကို ရဲ့ဝင့်ပြောင်မြောက်စွာ တော်လှန်ခဲ့ကြသော လူမျိုးစုံ တိုင်းရင်းသားပြည်သူတရပ်လုံး၏ တော်လှန်ရေး စိတ်ဓါတ်ကိုထူးခြားပြောင်မြောက်စွာ သမိုင်းမှတ်တမ်းတင်စေခဲ့သည့် (၇၈) နှစ်မြောက် ဖက်ဆစ်တော်လှန်ရေးနေ့ဖြစ်သည်။
မြန်မာ့သမိုင်းတွင် ပြည်သူများသည် သမိုင်း၏ပဲ့ကိုင်ရှင်များ ဖြစ်၍ ပြည်သူသာအမိပြည်သူသာအဖ အဖြစ် အနှစ်သာရရှိစွာ ဂုဏ်ပြုမှတ်တမ်းတင်ထားပါသော်လည်း ယုတ်မာရက်စက်အကြံပက်စက်သော စစ်အာဏာရှင်တစုတို့သည် ထိုဖက်ဆစ်တော်လှန်ရေးနေ့ကို တပ်မတော်နေ့ဟု တရားမဝင် ပြောင်းလဲသုံးနှုံးကာ တပ်မတော်သာအမိတပ်မတော်သာအဖ ဆိုသောစစ်အာဏာရှင်သက်ဆိုးရှည်ရေးအတွေးအခေါ်ကိုသွတ်သွင်းခဲ့ကြသည်။
စစ်အာဏာရှင်အဆက်ဆက်တို့သည် မိမိတို့ရပ်တည်မှုတရားဝင်ရေးနှင့် တိုင်းရင်းသား ပြည်သူတရပ်လုံး စစ်ဖိနပ်သံခွါအောက်တွင် ငြိမ်ဝပ်ပြားနေစေရန် ရည်ရွယ်လျက် အတုအယောင် ဒီမိုကရေစီဖွဲ့စည်းပုံအခြေခံဉပဒေကို ရေးဆွဲခဲ့ကြပြီး စစ်အာဏာရှင်သက်တမ်းကိုသက်ဆိုးရှည်စေခဲ့သည်။ အမှန်တရားနှင့်ပြည်သူ့ဆန္ဒကိုလစ်လျူရှုလျက် သမိုင်းကိုပြောင်းပြန်လှန်နေကြခြင်းကြောင့် အကျိုးဆက်အဖြစ် အမှားကြာအမှန်ဖြစ်ကာ စစ်အာဏာရှင်တို့၏ စစ်ကျွန်သွတ်သွင်းမှုကိုပြည်သူတရပ်လုံး ခါးစည်းခံရမည့်အရေးမှ ကာကွယ်တိုက်ဖျက်ကြရန်မှာ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့အားလုံး၏သမိုင်းပေးတာဝန်ဖြစ်သည်။
သို့ဖြစ်ပါ၍ ဖက်စစ်တော်လှန်ရေးနေ့အစား တပ်မတော်နေ့ဟုရည်ရွယ်ချက်ရှိရှိ အမှားတရားသွတ်သွင်းခြင်းကို၊ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့တိုင်းရင်းသားပြည်သူတရပ်လုံးကအသိဉာဏ်ဆင်ခြင်တုံတရားတို့နှင့် ဆန့်ကျင်ကြရမည်ဖြစ်သလို စစ်အာဏာရှင်စနစ်ကို ဤနွေဉီးတော်လှန်ရေးဖြင့် အပြီးတိုင်အမြစ်ဖြတ်ချေမှုန်း၍ လွပ်လပ်ခြင်း၊ချစ်ကြည်ခြင်း၊ညီမျှခြင်းစသည့် ဒီမိုကရေစီအခြေခံသဘောတရားများကို အုတ်မြစ်ချကာ တိုင်းရင်းသားအားလုံး တန်းတူအခွင့်အရေးရရှိရေး ဆိုသည့်ဖက်ဒရယ်သဘောတရား အပြည့်အဝပါသည့် အဆောက်အဦးကြီးကို ခိုင်မာစွာတည်ဆောက်ရေးအတွက်၊ကျွန်ုပ်တို့အနေနှင့်ပြည်တွင်းပြည်ပတိုင်းရင်းသား ပြည်သူတရပ်လုံးနှင့် လက်တွဲကာနည်းလမ်းပေါင်းစုံသုံး၍အောင်ပွဲရသည်အထိ ဆက်လက်တိုက်ပွဲဝင်သွားမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း ထုတ်ပြန်ကြေညာအပ်ပါသည်။

Dictatorship Resistance Day Declaration အာဏာရှင်ဆန့်ကျင်တော်လှန်ရေးနေ့ ထုတ်ပြန်ကြေညာချက်
March 27, 2023 (၂၀၂၃)ခုနှစ် မတ်လ(၂၇)ရက်
Two years after the unlawful military coup in Myanmar (Burma), while the people of Burma (Myanmar) are suffering from the war conducted on the civilians by their own military, the military junta will be celebrating the Armed Forces Day with a grand parade to display its might and a lavish dinner for the military brass and diplomats from the few nations which are still engaging with them sans official recognition.
The Armed Forces Day originated as Anti-Fascist Resistance Day to celebrate, March 27, 1945, when the Burmese army’s founding commander Maj. Gen. Aung San delivered an anti-Fascist speech to the Burma Defense Army (BDA) in the parade ground at the foot of Shwe Dagon Pagoda, and joined the Allied Forces in the fight against Japan’s Fascist forces in Burma. The military leadership misappropriated this Anti-Fascist Resistance Day as the Armed Forces Day during Gen. Ne Win’s one-party military dictatorship half-century ago, after airbrushing the contributions and roles of other historical actors such as Burmese Communists, Socialists and western liberals who forged a broad-based resistance against the common enemy of Japanese Fascist occupier.
Now the people of Burma are lamenting the degeneration of Gen Aung San’s patriotic army into an opportunistic, criminal organization which serves only the interests of the leaders and terrorizes the people to submit to their high-jacking the country.
Fittingly, many Burmese reclaimed March 27 as Anti-Fascist Resistance Day, and mock the military parade in Naypyidaw as the Funeral of Myanmar’s defense force which was considered honorable in the past.
So, on the Armed Forces Day of Burma, March 27, 2023, the Burmese American Diaspora Community reclaim the day as the “Dictatorship Resistance Day” and vow to resist the Military Junta of Myanmar until the Fascist Military dictatorship system is eradicated from our political arena.
We also demand redress for the following crimes committed against the People of Burma by the Military of Burma, starting from1962, when the military usurped the power of the people with a coup.
These crimes are continuing at present and escalating.
Repression of the will of the people -The people’s will for self-determination in government is repressed by terrorizing the entire populace. All dissent has been crushed through indiscriminate use of arms. Murders, arbitrary detention, enforced disappearances, r**e, other sexual and gender-based violence, torture and severe deprivation of liberty has been committed to terrorize and subjugate the people.
Exploitation of the natural resources of the country for personal benefit – The majority of the proceeds from the exploitation of the considerable natural resources of the country has been misappropriated by the military leadership and their cronies. Meanwhile, the development and upkeep of the country’s essential services, public health and education has been drastically underfunded.
Destroying the public education system – Ignorance is used as a tool to suppress dissent. The country’s education system was systematically destroyed to keep the population uninformed and divided. Literacy in English was especially suppressed so that the flow of ideas and information into and out of the country can be controlled. This resulted in the suppression of the development of human potential, reducing the productivity of nation and kept the majority of the population in poverty.
Destroying the economy – The economy of the country was systemically destroyed to keep the majority in poor and desperate. Employment and advancement are based on loyalty only. The value of education, experience and intelligence are reduced to point of irrelevance. People were driven to be corrupt by desperation and were forced by circumstance and ignorance to inform on each other. Trust and unity among the people were destroyed systemically so that the military dictatorship could retain their power.
Destroying the rule of law – All the laws were written to protect the military dictatorship only. The constitution was written to protect power of the military. The military could commit crimes against humanity including murder, arbitrary detention, r**e, torture, looting and destruction of property with impunity.
Destroying the healthcare system – The military has been destroying, burning and closing hospitals and medical clinics since the coup of 2021. They have been arresting doctors and nurses who are suspected of supporting the resistance and also with the evil intent of creating a humanitarian crisis.
Destroying the unity among the different ethnic groups - The military wants to promote itself as the unifier of the country but in order to promote itself as such, it adopted divide and rule policies and fostered divisions for the last sixty years so that the people will not be able to resist cohesively. We implore our own ethnic groups to be more mindful of that and unite for cohesive action. Be mindful of acting in the best interest of all your own people. It is now or never.
We implore the international community to help to resolve the Myanmar situation with political pressure on the military, assistance of any shape or form to the resistance fighters even if it is non-lethal, and humanitarian aid to the refugees, displaced persons and the political prisoners. Assistance to the public employees who have participated in the “Civil disobedience Movement” has been forgotten and is desperately needed to keep the movement alive.
We had received very little effective assistance in the two years since the coup during which time, the people have been resisting with extreme courage against overwhelming odds.
At the very least, the UN Human Rights commissioner’s recommendations for Human Rights Council members to do their utmost to deliver humanitarian support directly to Myanmar’s people, including by channeling operations through grassroots organizations and all UN Member States to promote dialogue and sustainable solutions that are representative of the will of the Myanmar people, in order “to bring an end to this brutal crisis” should be accomplished.
The crisis in Myanmar is not just internal strife in a small south East Asian country. It is an affront to democracy and rule of law which could spill over and destabilize the entire region.
