AFYSSC is a non-profit founded in the memory of Alec Flores to help more kids play sports. Scholarships are also given for exceptional student athletes.

Alec Flores Youth Sports Scholarship Corporation (AFYSSC) is a non-profit 501c3 corporation. We provide scholarships for all levels of youth athletes, ranging from recreational play through collegiate sports. Scholarships are awarded based on need due to financial challenges, disabilities, medical conditions, or other obstacles to participating in sports. AFYSSC was founded in Memory of Alec Flore

s, #41. Alec was a funny, loyal, and passionate young man. He loved, and lived for his sports. A wrestler and a football player, a swimmer and a biker, he always gave his all. He never gave up. Alec was an amazing and inspiring young man gone too soon. His life was lost to a drunk driver just days before his 14th birthday. AFYSSC was established to celebrate Alec, to recognize the positive impact sports had on his life, and to help provide similar opportunities for others.
