Advancing the primary prevention of sexual assault and domestic violence.

The goal of PreventConnect is to advance the primary prevention of sexual assault and domestic violence by fostering an online community of practice among people engaged in prevention efforts through-out the United States and around the world. The tools we use to engage that community include our online resource center, a wiki, a blog, social media channels, an online learning, an email list, and web conferences.

Prevention practitioners have long collaborated with schools, after school programs, athletic programs, and more to reach young people with prevention education.

Now they can use the updated version of the foundational resource "Preventing and Responding to Child Sexual Abuse in Youth-Serving Organizations," to help strengthen partnerships and support organizations in creating places where children are actively supported.
