Cake4Kids Sacramento Cake4Kids provides custom-made birthday and celebration cakes to agencies that serve at-risk youth.

At Cake4Kids, we bake and deliver birthday cakes for foster children and at risk youth. We support all sorts of under-privileged children and youth - they might be in group homes, at a domestic violence or human trafficking agency/shelter, in low income housing with or without a parent or even homeless. We aim to raise these children's self-esteem and confidence with this seemingly simple gift on

their special day. It may just be a cake, but the children we bake for know somebody took the time and effort to do something special just for them.

Birthdays for children have evolved from a few friends in a backyard with some mismatched balloons and made up games to themes, hired entertainment, photography stations and rented spaces. Psychologists have noticed 1 in 5 parents admit to stress before their child's birthday party.

We are aware of a much different stress. The panic a Mother feels when she doesn't have the money, time or space to celebrate her child's birthday. That's where we come in! We deliver a beautiful, custom homemade cake at no charge. One piece of a birthday celebration that can make a world of difference!

In 2025, the fabulous volunteer bakers of our Sacramento chapter completed over 1000 deliveries to partner agencies throughout El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento , and Yolo counties. That’s over 1000 smiles delivered in just one year! As our organization grows we are able to welcome new volunteers and give our existing volunteers more chances to bake and stay involved.
