πŸ’™ Today is World Autism Awareness Day β€” April 2, 2026.

This year's United Nations theme is *Autism and Humanity: Every Life Has Value.* And we couldn't agree more.

Autism affects millions of Americans β€” and every autistic person brings something extraordinary to their family, their community, and the world. Yet too often, the systems meant to support them fall short. Schools, workplaces, healthcare systems β€” all have a role to play in building a world where neurodiversity is not just tolerated, but genuinely celebrated.

At Project Transition, Inc., that's the work we show up for every day. We connect young people to career development, education, and mentorship β€” because we believe every mind deserves the chance to grow on its own terms.

Here's how you can show up today:
βœ… Share this post and spread the message
βœ… Learn something new about the autism spectrum
βœ… Advocate for inclusive spaces in your school, workplace, or community
βœ… Celebrate someone in your life who shows you what neurodiversity looks like

Because awareness is just the beginning. Acceptance is the goal.

πŸ’™ Drop a comment β€” how does your community celebrate Autism/Neurodiversity?

πŸ’œ March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month β€” and we're spending every day of it lifting up the people who remind us what resilience, joy, and true strength really look like.

Since 1987, communities across the country have come together during this month to celebrate the achievements of individuals with developmental disabilities, advocate for their rights, and push for a world where inclusion isn't the exception β€” it's the standard.

At Project Transition, Inc., that's the world we're building β€” one young person at a time.

Here's how YOU can be part of the movement this month:

βœ… Share this post and help spread the word
βœ… Educate someone who doesn't know about
βœ… Support an organization doing this work β€” volunteer, donate, show up
βœ… Listen to someone's story. Really listen.

Because awareness without action is just noise. Let's make this month count.

This one's for you.

To every Athletic Trainer who has volunteered their time, shared their knowledge, and poured into the young people of Project Transition β€” we see you. We appreciate you. And this month, we celebrate you.

You show up at our events not because you have to, but because you believe in something bigger. You tape ankles and teach life lessons in the same breath. You mentor kids who might never have had someone in their corner β€” and you do it with patience, expertise, and heart.

Because of you, our youth don't just learn how to recover from injuries. They learn what it means to have someone invested in their future. They learn what "Care You Can Count On" actually looks like.

That's more than athletic training. That's changing lives.

Happy National Athletic Training Month to the ATs in the Project Transition family. You are the definition of this year's theme β€” and we don't take a single moment of your dedication for granted.

If an AT from our program or any other program has made an impact on you or your family, show them some love in the comments. πŸ’™
