π Today is World Autism Awareness Day β April 2, 2026.
This year's United Nations theme is *Autism and Humanity: Every Life Has Value.* And we couldn't agree more.
Autism affects millions of Americans β and every autistic person brings something extraordinary to their family, their community, and the world. Yet too often, the systems meant to support them fall short. Schools, workplaces, healthcare systems β all have a role to play in building a world where neurodiversity is not just tolerated, but genuinely celebrated.
At Project Transition, Inc., that's the work we show up for every day. We connect young people to career development, education, and mentorship β because we believe every mind deserves the chance to grow on its own terms.
Here's how you can show up today:
β
Share this post and spread the message
β
Learn something new about the autism spectrum
β
Advocate for inclusive spaces in your school, workplace, or community
β
Celebrate someone in your life who shows you what neurodiversity looks like
Because awareness is just the beginning. Acceptance is the goal.
π Drop a comment β how does your community celebrate Autism/Neurodiversity?
