The California Bluegrass Association is a California non-profit corporation founded in 1974, to “promote, encourage, foster, and cultivate the preservation, appreciation, understanding, enjoyment, support, and performance of bluegrass, old-time, gospel, and traditional instrumental and vocal music of the United States.”
We support and encourage musicians, musicianship, learning and musical activities for all ages and all levels of mastery. We foster a multi-generational environment of inclusion, and benefit our communities California statewide. Our program includes the Fathers Day Festival, Music Camp, Old Time activities, Youth Academy and a music archive program.
