🧑‍🚒👩‍🚒🚒 PVFA Update: Moving Forward, One Step at a Time 🔥

The past couple of weeks have been a turning point for PVFA. Three volunteer fire brigades have now reached out, completed verification, and begun sharing their gear needs. Each conversation gives us a clearer picture of what these responders are working with, and what they’re working without.

On the partnership side, we’ve already contacted multiple fire equipment distributors and are now waiting for their responses. This is the early groundwork that will shape how much support we can deliver in the months ahead.

Every message, every form submitted, every returned email, it all adds momentum. PVFA is still small, but the mission is gaining traction, and we’re committed to keeping everything transparent as we grow.

Thank you for following along as we push this forward.

PVFA Announces Our New Supporter Store — Powered by VistaPrint ProShop

We’re excited to share that the Philippine Volunteer Fire Alliance now has an official online store for supporters. After months of planning, we’ve partnered with VistaPrint Corporate Solutions (ProShop) to create a clean, reliable, and fully transparent way for anyone to access PVFA‑branded gear.

Why this matters

Every item in the store is offered at true base cost — zero profit, no markups, no fundraising angle. This aligns with our mission and our commitment to transparency. Supporters get quality gear, and volunteer fire brigades in the Philippines remain the sole focus of our humanitarian work.

What the partnership provides

Our collaboration with VistaPrint ProShop gives us:

• A professionally managed storefront
• Consistent, high‑quality printing
• On‑demand production (no inventory, no waste)
• Secure ordering and fulfillment
• A clean public URL: https://pvfa.ourproshop.com

What you’ll find in the store

We’re starting with a curated set of PVFA essentials:

• Shirts and hats
• Stickers and decals
• Drinkware
• Office and field accessories
• More items coming as we expand

Every product uses standardized branding and is produced directly by VistaPrint’s corporate platform.

Our promise

This store exists for one purpose:
To give supporters a simple, trustworthy way to represent PVFA — without taking a single dollar away from the mission.

Thank you for standing with us and helping strengthen volunteer fire brigades across the Philippines.

~Who We Are~

The Philippine Volunteer Fire Alliance (PVFA) goal is to connect donors with the real, documented equipment needs of Metro Manila’s volunteer fire brigades.

We operate on five principles:

1. New gear only — no used equipment, no expired PPE.

2. No cash donations — donors purchase exact items from approved distributors.

3. Transparency — public Wishlist's, fulfillment tracking, and proof of receipt.

4. Safety — all gear meets certified standards and brigade‑verified needs.

5. Feasibility first — we scale only when logistics and partners are secure.

Our hope is to pilot a program and partner with the Volunteer Fire Brigades in Manila/ Philippines to start with. Their documented PPE shortages, especially SCBA components, reflect the broader challenges faced by volunteer brigades across the city. PVFA exists to close that gap, item by item.

PVFA partners with fire‑gear manufacturers, distributors, and equipment companies to create verified wish lists based on each brigade’s documented needs.

Donors purchase items directly from these sellers, and the gear is shipped straight to the brigade’s designated receiver. PVFA never handles money, payments, or transactions all purchases occur solely between the donor and the partnered supplier, ensuring full transparency and a clean, gear‑only model.

Our Mission Statement

Our mission is to support Metro Manila’s volunteer firefighters by connecting donors directly with their verified equipment needs. Through a new‑gear‑only registry built on transparency, safety, and accountability, PVFA ensures that every donated item strengthens the capacity and protection of the brigades who serve their communities.
