The season is in full effect🔥 The Pima Fire Management Program covers five reservations: Gila River, Salt River, Ft. McDowell, Ak Chin & Pascua Yaqui.
The Agency is based out of the Gila River Indian Reservation, Sacaton Az, home unit.
We currently have outside resources to assist with Initial attack.
We are all here with the same goal. To keep the communities safe from Wildfires.

It's with a heavy heart to let our fire family know that we've lost another member within our fire family.

Gloria Notah, our former Fire Clerk, has passed on recently. Please keep her family n friends in your prayers as they prepare to lay her to rest. I'll post some pics of her when I find them ... Thank you n blessings to you all🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️❤️🔥😇🤗

Accepting applications for two more days. Pickup n drop off for applications at the Agency bldg 1, not the fire trailer as staff are in n out of the office.
Drug test must be completed before the closing date of 1/31/24.
Also, 3 yr driving record must be with application by 1/31/24.

Ten more days to get your application in for the 2024 Fire Season 🔥
Applications can be picked up at the Pima Agency main office . Make sure application is complete & submitted with all supporting documents on or before the closing date of January 31, 2024. Drug tests must be taken prior to closing date. Directions are on the front page of the application packet Questions please call Fire Management at 520-562-3974.

Fire Management folks are in & out of the office and Applications can be picked up at the front Agency office. Everything must be complete and turned in by the deadline.

If no one answers at Fire Management, please go to the front office and fill out your application there. Please park in the front off Main St. ONLY. Thank you.

The application packet can be picked up at the Pima Agency front office, Building 1 in Sacaton, Az. Google maps - BIA PIMA AGENCY for location. Our address 104 N. main St takes people to COOLIDGE which is wrong.

December 1, 2023, The Pima Agency will start accepting applications for the 2024 Fire Season. 🔥

Come work as a Wildland Firefighter for the summer. Applications can be filled out at the Fire Management office in Sacaton, AZ. Photo ID can be presented at time of application process.
