💙 A Call to Our Sabula Community & Neighbors 💙
We are reaching out today with a sincere request for help.
Sabula’s Mobile Food Pantry serves neighbors right here on the island and families in the surrounding areas. It is housed at Calvary Lutheran Church, but it belongs to the whole community. And right now, we need more hands to keep it going.
This pantry exists because people show up. People who unload trucks, organize food, greet neighbors, and help distribute groceries with dignity and care. Lately, we are struggling to cover these roles, and without more volunteers, this ministry becomes harder to sustain.
We are asking our friends, neighbors, churches, service groups, students, retirees, anyone who is able, to consider helping.
You do not need to commit every time. Even one shift makes a difference.
Help is needed for:
• Unloading food deliveries
• Distributing food during pantry hours
If this pantry has ever helped you, someone you love, or someone you don’t even know, this is your chance to help it continue.
