🚫🔥 Help Prevent Wildfires 🔥

Before burning debris, check for burn bans and outdoor restrictions, and the weather. Dry conditions and high winds can make fires spread fast.

Careless debris burning is the number one cause of human‑caused wildfires in Texas. When in doubt, don’t burn.

🚨 Stay wildfire aware! If you see smoke or a wildfire, call 911 immediately.

Sabinal Volunteer Fire Department Official Statement
It has come to our attention that an individual’s political campaign is using the Sabinal Volunteer Fire Department’s name, official patch, and images in their campaign posts and materials.
The Sabinal Volunteer Fire Department does not support either campaign, any candidate, or any political party. As a volunteer organization serving the entire community, we are required by Texas state law to remain strictly neutral in individual political campaigns. This neutrality ensures we do not create the impression of supporting one side or the other.
We respectfully request that the individual and campaign immediately stop using the Sabinal VFD name, patch, logo, or any department-related images for political purposes.
Thank you for respecting our legal obligation to stay non-partisan and for allowing us to focus on what matters most — serving the citizens of Sabinal and surrounding areas.

🌩️⛈️ STORM UPDATE ⛈️🌩️

I just left the Emergency Operations Center (EOC). The main storm cell that was expected to move through our area has now shifted north of us.

There is still a chance that a storm could develop and move in later tonight. The Uvalde County EOC will continue monitoring conditions throughout the night and will notify our team & I if anything changes.

Please stay alert and take any necessary precautions in case storms move through during the overnight hours. Stay safe & God Bless.

And to the amazing wives of our members — your unwavering support behind the scenes allows us to focus on our mission. You hold down the home front, offer encouragement, and stand with us through every long shift and late-night call. We couldn’t do this without you.
