The USD 113 Foundation The USD 113 Foundation is a charitable organization in Northeast Kansas which seeks to serve and support the USD 113 school district and its students.

In service of our mission we help community members receive and distribute charitable funds for specific projects within the school district, like school improvements and scholarships, administer short-term funds like memorials, and maintain and administer permanent endowment funds. Our 501(c)3 organization currently manages over one million dollars in assets. We are committed to the highest stand

ards, and strive to respect the wishes of each donor within the guidelines allowed by law. The Foundation serves all schools in USD #113, and is governed by a 11 member Board of Directors representing all geographic areas of the district.

At the October 31st USD 113 in-service, Appleseed Innovation Grants were awarded to ELEVEN recipients! The total awards came in at just under $20,000!

The Appleseed Innovation Grant is made possible by an endowment started in 2017 by Kent & Donna Saylor. It is available to all USD 113 teachers, staff & personnel to start any new & innovative project. To learn more about the grant program, visit https://www.foundation113.com/appleseed-innovation.
