Congratulations to Weezer and Scout for hitting the jackpot and landing in the best forever home together and congratulations to their new family!

Thank you to every single person who made their journey with us successful. From fosters, to veterinarians, to farriers, volunteers, trainers, and of course donors.

It truly takes a huge village to help our sweet animals find their way home… at last.

I cannot thank everyone enough for the birthday wishes and the incredibly generous donations toward my $5,000 birthday goal.

As I sat here thinking about how there was a time I truly never thought I would make it to this birthday, I started scrolling through old memories on my phone. In 2018, we began rescuing mostly unhandled and mishandled miniature horses, donkeys, and ponies. Looking back at these memories is overwhelming but in the best way.

Because of every single person who has believed in this mission, supported us, donated, shared posts, volunteered, fostered, or simply cheered us on, we have been able to directly help over 100 little equines over the past nearly decade. And when I say “we,” I genuinely mean YOU, too. This could never have been possible without you.

I do not love being in front of the camera, but I wanted to share a few snippets of me and just some of the equines whose lives have changed because people like you chose to care.

For anyone who still wanted to donate toward the birthday fundraiser, donations can be made at homeatlastfarm.org/donate or by mailing a check to:

Thank you for believing in second chances; for animals and for people.

I honestly do not even know where to begin.

Thank you so much for the unbelievable amount of kindness, love, encouragement, comments, emails, and messages that have poured in since my last post. I have been completely overwhelmed in the best possible way by all of the good energy being sent our way.

I am also incredibly humbled by everyone’s generosity. We are now just 1 week away from my 36th birthday and have almost reached my $5,000 fundraiser goal. Across platforms we have raised a little over $4,000.

I know these are incredibly hard economic times for so many people and I never want anyone to feel guilty if they cannot donate. What has moved me just as much are the messages, stories, comments, and people reaching out to tell me how our rescue has impacted them or how much they have loved following along over the years.

To everyone who shares our posts, comments on our content, or simply quietly follows along and sends love from afar, thank you. Sometimes support is simply knowing there are good people out there rooting for you.

I also want to say how grateful I am for the people who have reached out sending love directly to Chris. He has been the absolute backbone through all of this. Both physically and emotionally while I was struggling and I truly appreciate everyone acknowledging him and sending him kindness too.

I also want everyone to know that I am doing well. I am focusing on slowing down through this huge transition and giving both myself and our sanctuary animals a chance to truly rest and heal this summer.

Something else that has melted my heart is how many people have reached out asking if they could send birthday cards, artwork, letters, or donation checks to me directly. While I’ve never made our personal farm public we do have a PO Box in Maine I can share
