Important Update on this weekend's Alpaca Farm Days at Harvard Alpaca Ranch.
With the impending nor'easter, they have rescheduled most of Saturday's planned activities for Oct 11th. They WILL be open tomorrow and Sunday. But if you do go to ANY farms this weekend, please check ahead to confirm they are open, bring a raincoat, and be careful.
And please support your local alpaca farms!
We are very disappointed to make this post, but you can't argue with Mother Nature. Due to the forecast for poor weather and in consideration of the safety of our guests, we have decided to pivot on our Alpaca Farm Days celebration. Here is the updated schedule:
September 26: The Ranch will still be open for farm tours to visit with the alpacas and we will have hot c***r and donuts. Additionally, we will be offering special sales in the Alpaca Shop for those who want to venture out in the weather. Other planned activities are postponed until October 11th.
September 27: We have decided to downsize Day 2 of Alpaca Farm Days. The Ranch will still be open for farm tours to visit with the alpacas. Our friends at the Twizted Pickle Food Truck have also committed to come out regardless and sell their yummy offerings. We will have special sales in the Alpaca Shop. Our other planned activities are postponed until October 11th.
If you are willing to come out for a visit this weekend, please drive carefully and remember to wear your raincoat!
October 11: We are still putting together final details, but the plan is to offer most of the activities that were planned for Alpaca Farm Days in September. We plan to have a b**r garden and cold brew coffee, special kids activities and other fun stuff, but stay tuned…if you want to reserve a farm tour on this day, please book it on our website.
