𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝘂𝘁𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆

The Agro-Eco Project, as a small not for profit farm, located on Ridge Road in Rutland, has 3 main goals as their mission:

* Growing clean and nutritious produce for food pantries in Worcester County
* Sharing resources and best practices related to agroecology and regenerative farming
* Exploring the links between growing and preparing nutritious food

𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸, 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝘃𝗲𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗮𝗹𝗹.

Anyone wishing to volunteer in their gardens is encouraged to do so.

𝗥𝘂𝘁𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 – 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 (𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗘)

We are so grateful to all the people in our community who continue to support the mission of the Rutland Food Pantry.

Over the past several weeks, we have been especially supported by:

• Glenwood PTO of Rutland helped organize an end of school year
food drive for us.

• The Agro-Eco Project , located on Ridge Road, has begun their summer and fall donations to us of fresh vegetables and herbs. We certainly love when we can get fresh produce! (Check out their page for volunteer opportunities that directly help the Rutland Food Pantry)

• Special recognition to 𝙒𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙩𝙩 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙎𝙏𝙀𝙋 program that volunteered to help us sort the donations from the Post Office Stamp Out Hunger drive along with spending time cleaning the Food Pantry. This type of volunteer activity is invaluable to us.

Once again, thank you for all your donations and your support for this important ministry.

HUGE shout out to Naquag PTO, students and parents at Naquag who helped TOTALLY fill our cereal shelves at the Rutland MA Food Pantry.
