The Heart of New England Council Service Center will be closed on Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth.
We will resume normal business hours on Monday, June 22 at 8:30am.
As we commemorate Juneteenth, we honor the significance of this day in American history and reflect on the values of freedom, equality, and opportunity for all.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of longtime Scouting friend and supporter Dr. Richard H. Sioui, who passed away on June 13 at the age of 88. His dedication, leadership, and unwavering support of Scouting touched countless lives throughout our community. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. On Wednesday, June 10, we proudly celebrated our final meeting of the school year for Exploring Aviation at Worcester Regional Airport. It was an incredible evening recognizing a year of learning, growth, and hands-on experiences in aviation.
We are so proud of each student for their curiosity, commitment, and passion for exploring careers in aviation. From discovering new skills to building confidence and teamwork, you’ve truly made this year something special.

We’re inviting all Camp Wanocksett alumni to come home for a day filled with family fun, memories, and Scout spirit!

⏰ Time: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
📍 Location: Camp Wanocksett

Come reconnect with old friends, relive your favorite camp moments, and share the experience with your family. We’ll have activities open throughout the day, including:

🎯 Progress at Camp Wanocksett’s Rifle Range 🎯
We’re excited to share that work is well underway at the rifle range at Camp Wanocksett! While the project is still in progress, the transformation so far is a testament to the dedication of our volunteers, staff, and supporters.
Improvements are being made to enhance both safety and functionality, creating a space where Scouts will be able to learn, grow, and build confidence in a well-designed environment. There’s still more to be done, but each workday brings us one step closer to a finished range that will serve generations of Scouts.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed time, energy, and resources—we couldn’t do this without you! Stay tuned as we continue to make progress and move toward completion.
