We are low on laundry baskets, twin sized comforters/blankets, shampoo, conditioner, towels, washcloths, body wash, and feminine hygiene products.

For each resident that comes to the Dodge House for help, they are given a laundry basket filled with basic hygiene supplies, washcloths, towels, twin sheets, a pillow, and a blanket that they keep and take with them when they transition to permanent housing.

If you are able to donate these products, we would be greatly appreciative.

It is with volunteers such as yourself that we can provide a safe and clean environment for our veterans.

The Dodge House is hosting our FIRST-EVER Annual Keys to Hope Gala! 🇺🇸

We are busy planning an incredible evening to support the mission of The Dodge House and the veterans we serve — and we need our community’s help to make our very first Gala a success!

🙋‍♀️ WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!

There are LOTS of ways to help — both before the Gala and on the day of the event.

We are looking for volunteers who can:

🔑 Visit local businesses, organizations, and community members to help us procure Silent Auction donations

🔑 Help with Gala set-up on Thursday afternoon and/or Friday

🔑 Help organize, display, and set up our Silent Auction

🔑 Assist with ticket check-in and guest registration

🔑 Help sell and manage 50/50 raffle tickets

🔑 Assist wherever needed during the Gala

🔑 Help with clean-up at the end of the evening

Whether you can give us a few hours, help us collect donations around the community, or spend the evening volunteering with us, we would love to have you!

We want to build an AMAZING Silent Auction for our first Gala, and we are looking for donations from businesses, organizations, artisans, community members, and supporters.

🔑 Something exciting is coming to Rutland this November...

The Dodge House is proud to announce our 1st Annual Keys to Hope Gala, taking place on Friday, November 13, 2026, at the Rutland Elks Lodge!

This special evening will bring our community together to help unlock the door to housing, stability, and new beginnings for homeless veterans in Vermont.

We Need Your Help!

🎁 Silent Auction Donations
We're currently seeking donations from businesses, organizations, and individuals. Gift baskets, gift certificates, experiences, artwork, sports memorabilia, vacation stays, handmade items, services, and unique gifts are all welcome. Every donated item helps us raise critical funds to support our veterans.

🙋 Volunteers
We are also looking for volunteers to help before, during, and after the event. Whether you enjoy decorating, organizing, greeting guests, setting up auction items, or helping with cleanup, we'd love to have you on our team.

I want to take a moment to thank our volunteer, Becky Field.
Becky has came in and started cleaning up our 2 garden plots out back and has planted some tomatoes, so far, for our residents.

We want to thank the Vietnam Veterans of America and the Community Members who stopped by The Dodge House for our Open House.

Guests were given a brief history of The Dodge House and a tour of our facility, including our Food Shelf and Boot & Shoe Program that are open, not only to our residents, but to all Veterans in the community who are in need.

A special thank you to Executive Director Kim Jarrait's children, and Mount Saint Joseph Academy students, Corbin and Marlee Chadburn, for volunteering to greet our guests.
