Rutland Area Robotics We provide students the opportunity to gain hands on experience in design, fabrication, building, and programming various types of robots.

Rutland Area Robotics is a 501(c)(3)non-prot organization that was created in central Vermont to promote competitive after school robotics teams in grades K-12. Additional skills such as project management, teamwork, maintaining a safe work environment, and meeting tough deadlines are also part of the program.

Are you in 8th-12th grade in the greater Rutland area and interested in Robotics? Our team is having a meeting on Wednesday Sept. 2nd (5-8pm) at the Engineering Lab at Stafford Tech and new students are welcome to drop in.

We will be talking about the upcoming off-season events we will be attending, fixing our robot, making t-shirts and discussing requests for our Impact Team.

Yesterday was a busy day! We also had our first ever FTC Meeting! Our new team - the Prot0Bots got to hear what FTC is all about and unpacked the parts that will someday become their robot. There was a great deal of curiosity and interest from these students.

🤖💚 Big Robots, Big Smiles, BIG FIRST Excitement!
IBOTS loves sharing our passion for FIRST Robotics with the next generation of robotics students! Today, we had a blast meeting with our FLL Explore team. 🌟

These young students brought so much curiosity and enthusiasm as they learned all about our FRC robot! We showed them how the robot drives, took a deep dive inside to explore how it works, checked out the drive station, and—of course—gave everyone a chance to drive a BIG FRC robot! 🕹️🤖

And the kids weren't the only ones having fun—one of the FLL parents jumped in and took a turn driving, too! 🙌

We LOVE seeing this kind of excitement and curiosity. We can’t wait to work with these students this fall and watch them learn, grow, and progress throughout their FLL season!

Today’s future engineers, programmers, designers, and team leaders are already getting started! 💚⚙️

Rutland Area Robotics offers K-12 Youth Robotics STEM Education. We often get asked about the status of our programming. The FIRST LEGO League Season has already begun and our teams for this season presently appear full. You are welcome to join our waitlist for programming for this age group for future years or reach out to another area team that may not be full yet.

Our new FIRST Technical Challenge (FTC) Team is accepting new students. Their season begins in just a few weeks. Space is limited - so inquire about joining today.

Our FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) Team's season begins in early January. Our team is active in the off-season (outreach, skills training, attending off-season events, supporting our Junior teams) so students can join the team at any point this fall or early winter.
