I’m busy busy busy behind-the-scenes getting things ready for their big move and will do an official intro post once they’re officially here (they’re currently in a temp foster situation). All three are lady goats who have been cherished and loved by their owner for many years until things just took a bit of a sad turn for them. TIGJARS is happy to be able to provide a soft place to land and can’t wait to welcome them to the sanctuary. Kicking off this fundraiser for Operation Goat, money will go towards feed, hay, bedding, and vetting ✨🙏

Sadly, little Birch passed away peacefully in his sleep after being diagnosed last year with a tumor on his bladder - I knew he didn’t have much time left but he was a happy little fella right up until his departure 💔🥺 🌈

I was initially worried about Maple and the stress of losing his constant companion leading to his demise (this can happen), but I’m delighted to report that Maple is doing great! I gave him one of those heartbeat bears to keep him company, and he has BunBun 🐰 as his neighbor, so he’s in good company! I’ve even noticed he’s more social and not as shy ❤️

After just ONE week of knowing love, patience, and safety in a home, Luna is doing SO WELL ✨ She has met chickens (a little nervous of them), a very friendly and patient cat (wants to play!), and even cows 🐮 pasture puppies seem to be Luna’s favorite friend so far, besides her new canine bestie ❤️ She’s responding to her new name and is doing incredibly well with leash walking 🦮🐺

Despite her sad history (lack of care) and the conditions we she was rescued from, Luna has received a clean bill of health and is scheduled to be spayed in a few weeks. We still need help fundraising for her, info below. Thank you for following along with Luna’s rescue journey 💛

✨ Meet Luna 🌙

This sweet 1-year-old Husky has known far too much chaos and far too little peace. Bought from a breeder, passed around on social media, and ultimately confined to a crate 24/7, left to sit in her own urine and f***s (she’s already had three baths to remove the staining). When a Good Samaritan reached out to one of our former board members, we didn’t hesitate. We’ve been on intake hold for over a year while reestablishing in our new location, and just as we were preparing to slowly open back up, Luna found her way to us. Fate, indeed.

When Luna was picked up for her freedom ride, she was completely shut down, cowering in the corner, urinating and drooling in terror. Once home, she tried to press herself into the wall, as if hoping to disappear. But after just 24 hours of love, structure, and patience, she’s already beginning to relax, and even play!

She appears to have not had any proper vet care since being sold off by the breeder so she needs the works, including a spay! All funds raised will be going to her medical exams and spay - every bit helps. Once she’s ready, we’ll find her the best furever home🏡 🙏🥹❤️🐺

DNA MARIE AMATO FENIELLO! Bennington VT!
⚠️ Public Warning: Multi-State Animal Cruelty Offender Now in Vermont⚠️
Sharing this to help keep people informed about a woman with a long, documented, multi-state history of animal cruelty who continues to obtain animals despite repeated court orders.
Marie Amato Feniello, 65, has now been involved in at least five documented animal-cruelty cases in Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut, and New Jersey. Her last known address is Bennington, VT, and she frequently moves between states.
Here’s what is publicly documented:
📍 Vermont – Dummerston (Nov. 27, 2025)
Arrested after two cats were found in her vehicle crammed in a crate soaked in urine and f***s.
This affidavit also references her recent Bennington arrest, showing an ongoing pattern of violating conditions that prohibit her from possessing animals.
Court date set for January 6th, 2026 at the Windham County Superior Court.
📍 Vermont – Bennington (Nov. 26, 2025)
Arrested following an animal cruelty investigation by the Bennington Police Department involving two dogs.
She is due in court on December 1, 2025, at the Bennington County Superior Court.
📍 New Hampshire (Nov. 16, 2025)
Arrested in Lyme, NH on two charges of negligent animal cruelty. Despite her order to not possess any animals from the Connecticut Animal Cruelty Case.
📍 Connecticut (Dec. 17, 2024 - Case involving two dogs that died)
A Connecticut investigation found two black Labs, Augi and Sawyer, died from severe malnourishment, and a third Lab, Thatcher, was brought in emaciated at 37 lbs.
Officers later found additional dogs confined in one crate and multiple cats living in debris.
She was charged with three counts of animal cruelty and ordered not to possess animals.
📍 New Jersey (2008 conviction)
Convicted on six counts of animal cruelty after investigators found five dogs and one cat malnourished and living in a f***s- and urine-filled apartment.
She was ordered to surrender all animals, complete community service, pay restitution, and was prohibited from owning animals for several years.
📌Across all states and all years, the pattern is identical:
animals starved, confined in filth, deprived of food and water, and repeatedly found in life-threatening conditions.
She continues moving between VT, NH, CT, and NJ and repeatedly seeks out new animals despite restrictions.
‼️If you see Marie Amato Feniello attempting to adopt, acquire, rehome, or transport animals, please notify your local police department, state police/game warden immediately!
