Willing hands. Open hearts. 💛 Pretty soon, some of our neighbors will be struggling to fill the gap left by potential delays in SNAP benefits. The Linc Foundation was created for immediate needs and we need your help to make a difference.

Every diaper, jar of baby food, box of pasta, and dollar given helps a local family make it through a hard season. ❤️

‼️‼️ VOLUNTEERS NEEDED ‼️‼️

We will be packing Cozy Kits tomorrow, January 8th, from 3:00-5:00pm at the Lincoln Parish Library Events Center in the Choudrant Room.

Donations can be dropped off at this location as well starting tomorrow morning.

Items we are still collecting:
- [ ] Gloves
- [ ] Beanies
- [ ] Thick socks
- [ ] Leggings for girls for under skirts
- [ ] Blankets
- [ ] Base layer shirts

Cozy Kits will be delivered on Thursday morning to ensure children have them before the projected wintry weather.

The Linc Foundation is preparing Cozy Kits for our parish children before the winter storm hits this week. Below is a list collected from area teacher for items needed for the kits. 🧣🧤🧦

⚪️Items purchased can be dropped at GBT located at 207 W Alabama with Victoria Sullivan or Jamie Dendy Consulting located at 2356 Hwy 33
⚪️Donations are also being accepted for supply purchases. Checks can be made payable to the Linc Foundation. You can also donate via PayPal to [email protected]

- Plain crewneck sweatshirts in gray, black, or white
- Gloves
- Beanies
- Chapstick
- Vaseline (travel size)
- Moisturizing lotion (travel size)
- Thick socks
- Leggings for girls for under skirts
- Blankets
- Base layer shirts

Almost a year ago, The Linc Foundation was formed to link willing hands and feet to basic needs. 🫶🏼

Our community showed up and showed out last winter when we were able to feed over 800 children in less than 24 hours. Let’s see what we can accomplish this time. 👏🏼

We will post volunteer opportunities in a separate post to coordinate the making and delivery of the Cozy Kits.
