As I sit here reflecting on this Memorial Day weekend I am somberly reminded of the SACRIFICE of so many that are taken for granted in today’s society.
From those that decided that taxation without representation was abhorrent which lead to the “Shot heard round the World”, to the shores of Tripoli, to Flanders field, to the beaches of Normandy, to the rice fields of Vietnam, to the Men and Women of Afghanistan/Iraq and in the Gulf of Hormuz defending OUR sovereign freedom, there have been countless individuals who have paid the ultimate price for you and I to be free and here today.
We take for granted the hundreds of thousands who have gave their lives for our freedom. We sit around, whine and moan and cuss at the price of gas while forgetting those that are on the other side of the world willing to give, and most importantly to those who have given, their life for you and me to be free.
Let us remember those who have given their lives, their today’s, their tomorrow’s for you and I to be free!!!!!!’
To the fallen, Thank you for all you have given us!!!!! May we honor your sacrifice by appreciating and honoring the life and freedom you gave each and every American!!!!!!
