Board members Linda Grubba, Vickie Mattox and Brandon Treadway at the annual College and Career Day that highlights how Campbell County high schools and businesses are working together to build a pipeline of workers in the trades. About 80 regional businesses discussed their needs to juniors and seniors.

We support Campbell County Public Schools' involvement with CTE programs that prepare students for technical careers with strong earning potential.

A huge thank you to the Campbell County Educational Foundation for their generous $35,800 donation, presented at last night’s School Board meeting! This funding will directly support textbooks, resources, and materials for CCPS students enrolled in the CVCC CTE Academy.

We were especially proud to hear from Ryland Campbell, a Brookville High School and Campbell County Technical Center student, who shared his appreciation with the School Board. Ryland has been accepted into the HVAC program at the CTE Academy for next school year, an exciting step toward his future!

We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of the Campbell County Educational Foundation and their commitment to creating opportunities for our students.

Students involved in tapping us for the $5,000 Stuart J. Turille award enthusiastically endorsed our program last night. Thank you to the Youth Philanthropy Council of the Greater Lynchburg Community Foundation that funds this nonprofit award annually. We will use the money to support a Future Center for William Campbell Combined School that will help students define their passions and pursue a career post-graduation.
