The Thrift Store Our thrift store supports The River Valley Shelter's programs for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Our Thrift Store is located at 1509 East Main Street, Suite 2, in Russellville, AR. Hours are 12:00PM to 5:00PM, Tuesday through Saturday. Income from the store goes directly back to supporting the shelter's programs for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Survivors staying at the shelter are given vouchers to shop for themselves and their children free of charge since they often leave their homes without packing all the necessities. You can support The River Valley Shelter by shopping in our store, donating your gently used housewares, furnishings and clothing, or by volunteering your time at the store. Donations are accepted on Saturdays during regular business hours.

I need to give a huge shoutout to Vaughn Holdings and Arkansas River Valley Moving.

First of all, if I ever say the words “let’s move a thrift store” again, someone please stop me. 😂

This has been a massive undertaking, but Vaughn Holdings went above and beyond to help make the transition easier for us. They paid for our move, which they absolutely did not have to do, and I am genuinely so thankful for that kindness.

And Arkansas River Valley Moving was phenomenal. Those guys worked HARD. They were careful, professional, patient, and somehow managed to move an entire thrift store without running away halfway through, which honestly deserves recognition all by itself. 😂

There have been a thousand moving pieces, a million decisions, and approximately six billion things to carry, but we are getting there.

Thank you to Vaughn Holdings and Arkansas River Valley Moving for helping us get one giant step closer to opening the doors at our new location. We truly appreciate you! Arkansas River Valley Moving, INC
