Good luck to our Big..Ansley Willis!

DYW Participant Spotlight - Ansley Willis (Lawrence County)

Ansley is a senior at Russellville High School.

She has been awarded membership in National Technical Honors Society, National Honors Society, Phi Theta Kappa, Mu Alpha Theta, ACT 30+ Club, Northwest Shoals Design Engineering Short Term Certificate, Girls State School Representative, Rocketry National Finalist- 7th place.

She also enjoys Rocketry, Robotics, and Big Brother Big Sisters.

She plans to attend the University of North Alabama to pursue a career as an Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety Specialist.

Her talent presentation for the DYW program will be performing sign language to “Butterfly Fly Away” by Miley Cyrus.

The Distinguished Young Women of North Central Alabama excitedly invite you to join us on July 11 at Decatur Middle School as Ansley and other incredible young ladies vie for the title of “Distinguished Young Woman 2027.” A winner will be chosen from each county — Lawrence, Limestone, and Morgan. We will be spotlighting participants each day leading up to the program. We can’t wait to cheer on these deserving young ladies!
