🇺🇸❤️ **Honoring 9/11 Through Service** ❤️🇺🇸

Our Senior Companions came together for the 9/11 Day of Service to honor the lives and sacrifices remembered on September 11th by giving back to those who serve our communities every day.

Our Senior Companions prepared and delivered special treats to our local First Responders as a small way of saying THANK YOU for their dedication, courage, and commitment to keeping our communities safe. 🚒🚑👮‍♀️👮‍♂️

We are so proud of our volunteers for turning remembrance into action and showing that even a small act of kindness can make a meaningful difference. Their time, generosity, and compassion are a wonderful reflection of the spirit of service that continues to bring communities together.

We would like to give a special THANK YOU to Missy Masterson-Hale with the Alzheimer’s Association Arkansas Chapter for coming out and spending time with our Senior Companion Volunteers!

Missy provided our volunteers with valuable information about Healthy Brain Habits and shared practical tips for supporting brain health as we age. Her knowledge and willingness to educate our volunteers help us better understand the importance of brain health and how we can encourage healthy habits in the individuals we serve. 🌟

We truly appreciate Missy taking the time to share her expertise with us and helping our volunteers learn ways to keep their brains healthy, active, and engaged! 🧠✨

This year’s Annual Volunteer Coordinator Training was filled with valuable knowledge, meaningful connections, and plenty of fun! We want thank our Volunteer Coordinators for their commitment to this program and a special thank-you to our Director, Jenny Riley, for always bringing energy and excitement to our meetings and making each gathering such an enjoyable experience.
