Today, we’re celebrating Elizabeth and Seth! ❤️
When they came into the Russ Bus, they were ready for a change. They knew they needed to rise out of an unhealthy environment and create something better for themselves and their children.

Together, we made a plan—and then they went to work. They worked hard, stayed committed, and honestly, we think they may have even surprised themselves with what they were capable of.

Now, they’re stepping into a place of their own and taking positive steps toward a healthier, brighter future.

There’s something beautiful about watching a family realize they can build a different life. We are so proud of Elizabeth and Seth and all they’ve accomplished.

Because of the couple of transitions we celebrated last week, that means new families coming in!! This is such an amazing opportunity to invest in a new family trying to get back on their feet.

Pictured you see what we call a Transitional Living Kit. These items get provided brand new to our new families so they are completely set up in their new home. We keep these stocked as they live with us so when they move into their own place, they can take everything with them and again, be completely set up. No worrying about having to cover the basics on top of everything else with the stresses of moving.

We would love if you would partner with us on these! The link to donate is below along with the mailing address and office address if you'd rather do cash or check. The average cost of a kit is around $800 but every dollar counts!

Bikes are always a need for our friends! Often times their only mode of transportation is their feet. Bikes help them get places faster with much less wear and tear on their body and shoes.

If you have any good condition bikes that you'd like to donate, contact us or bring them by the office Monday through Thursday from 9-4.
If you'd like to donate money for us to purchase bikes for our friends you can go to therussbus.org/donate.
