With Luke Rogers throwing four touchdown passes and TySean Thomeczek catching three of them, the visiting Logan County Cougars built a 32-0 lead at Russellville in the first minute of the second half. Three minutes later, Cougar defensive back Damani Goodloe intercepted a Jerius Coleman pass and returned it 56 yards for the touchdown that started the running clock. Cougar Christian Helle had carried the ball 11 times for 108 yards at halftime, but he didn’t carry the ball in the second half. Elijah Sells caught a touchdown pass and Cooper Parker caught a pair of conversion passes from Rogers. Caiden Kirby kicked a field goal for the first points of the game. Freshman Keeton Wright kicked two extra points. Freshman Cole Perkins, who came in on the next series after the running clock started, threw a touchdown pass to Clarence Passmore to make the score 45-0. Freshman Mason Gregory recovered a fumble for the Cougars, and freshman Lane Bush ran the ball well. LaBryan Nourse played well for the Panthers.
