🎄 Help Spread Christmas Joy in Pope County! 🎄
The Pope County Foster Care Coalition is gearing up for our annual support to our local DCFS and Foster Care families. It is time for Christmas Sponsorships & the Christmas Caseworker Appreciation Event on December 15th at Board & Brush! We need YOUR support to make it special!

💛 Adopt a Caseworker – $25
We have 20 incredible foster & adoption caseworkers and supervisors who work tirelessly all year to support children and families.
Sponsor a caseworker for just $25 to help us bless them by covering their cost of the event and show how much they are appreciated!

🎁 Sponsor a Child in Foster Care-
You can make Christmas brighter for a foster child in our community by:
✨ Shopping from their wish list (we’ll provide it), OR
✨ Donating $150 and their caseworker will shop for them

🎟️ Gift Cards Needed!
Gift cards are especially helpful for teens and children without sponsors, and allow us to meet unique needs. Stores that are most helpful include:

I’m so grateful to my friends who have donated and helped fill wishes for some special kiddos in our community each of you are appreciated! There are still needs:

12 year old boy- shoe size 7 (sneakers)
Gift card to game stop
Walmart gift cards for teens

December will be full of “last minute” lists that will put strain on the caseworkers and send them scrambling to get lists filled for kids that come into care between now and Christmas or that get identified during investigations/support visits. The best way to help is to DONATE -waiting for a list/shopping/arranging pickup and then caseworkers delivering to kids becomes complicated and challenging on the staff. Random toys/gifts and gift cards are needed asap for the caseworkers to fill lists in real time.

I’m so grateful to my friends who have donated and helped fill wishes for some special kiddos in our community each of you are appreciated!

Special “thank-you’s” go out to Troy and Becky Coffman for the gift card donation, Melody Helton Crane for donation (got a bike for a special girl 🥰), and Kristi McKenzie Crissup and Vickie Kasper for donations to help finish shopping for some teens I had lists for!
