Lord, we pray over anyone reading this post this morning. We pray that you intercede on their behalf Lord — you know what they need. You tell us that you are a shield to those that take refuge in you — so we trust in that promise (Proverbs 30:5). To those that may be feeling lost or broken, we pray that they stumble upon this post to learn about your promises through us. Use our organization as a vessel, Lord. Justice Always Wins was built to bring glory to your name, so help us reach those that need healing — to those that need to hear about your goodness through our own testimonies. If you feel God tugging on your heart, we pray that they have the courage to reach out and learn more about this ministry.

We love you, Lord and we thank you for this mission you placed on our hearts.

Amen.

Lately we’ve been reminded that faith isn’t just believing God can—it’s trusting Him enough to take the next step.

It’s easy to say we trust God when everything makes sense.

It’s harder when He asks us to move forward before we can see the whole picture.

Real faith isn’t passive. It requires action.

It looks like showing up.
It looks like serving.
It looks like forgiving.
It looks like trusting God when the outcome is uncertain.

May we be people who don’t just talk about faith, but live it.

I was doing The Armor of God Bible study by Priscilla Shirer, and something she shared really stuck with me that I felt a call on my heart to share with you today.

She used the example of a chair. We can look at a chair and believe it will hold us. We can say we trust it. We can even tell other people how strong it is. But until we actually sit down in it, we’re still holding ourselves up.

It made me think about my own faith.

How often do I say I trust God with a situation, but then continue to carry the weight of it myself? How often do I pray about something, only to spend the rest of the day worrying about it?

Trust isn’t just believing God can handle it. Trust is being willing to place the weight of it in His hands and rest in Him.

That was a reminder I needed today, and maybe someone else needs it too. Whatever you’re carrying right now, you don’t have to hold it alone.

💙 “Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” – 1 Peter 5:7

Just a reminder as you start your day:

“Your love, Lord, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies.” — Psalm 57:10

When life feels heavy, uncertain, or overwhelming, remember this truth: God’s love has no limits, and His faithfulness never fails. Even when we don’t understand what He’s doing, we can trust who He is.

Hold on to His promises today. Let His love carry you, His faithfulness sustain you, and His glory shine through every circumstance.

God created us for community. We are not meant to carry burdens alone, celebrate victories alone, or walk through life alone. Scripture reminds us that we are stronger when we come together, encouraging, serving, and loving one another as Christ loves us.

As we continue preparing for Rooted in Community, we are reminded that true community is a gift from God—one that allows us to be His hands and feet in the lives of others.

“By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” — John 13:35

We are incredibly thankful for the opportunity to share the heart and mission of Justice Always Wins this past Sunday at To-Gather Tampa Bay at The Crossing Church.

Being able to speak about our passion for supporting and walking alongside survivors was truly an honor. We are so grateful for every conversation, prayer, word of encouragement, and person who took the time to learn more about our mission.

Thank you to everyone at The Crossing Church for welcoming us with such kindness and support. We are excited to continue building connections throughout our community and shining light into places that need hope most.
