SouthShore Arts Council The SouthShore Arts Council was established in 2004 to promote and nurture the practice of the arts in southern Hillsborough County, Florida.

The Council was established in 2004, and has supported a variety of programs and events. The major events have been the annual Art Frolic, the annual Plein Aire Art Festival and as of 2008 the annual Big Draw. The Council collaborates with several other programs and organizations, including the Firehouse Cultural C

enter, Ruskin Community Development Foundation (RCDF), Camp Bayou, The Ruskin Historical Center, The John Crawford Studio at the SouthShore Regional Library, The Pelican Players Theater Group and The Southshore Chamber of Commerce.
