The Robert L. Howard Foundation is proud to continue its mission of giving back to the SouthShore community by supporting the next generation.

This year, we are honored to award three outstanding high school seniors with $2,500 scholarships to help them pursue their future goals. It was a difficult choice with all the great applications we received but we are proud to announce the 2026 scholarship winners:

To keep the generosity of Robert (Bobby) Howard alive by giving back to the South Shore Community, working together to make a positive and lasting change by empowering youth, touching every heart just as he did ours.

Through scholarships and community initiatives, we strive to make a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of local families and students.

🎄 Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Last night at Wellspring Community Church, The Robert L Howard Foundation held its annual Christmas Wrapping Party and helped make sure 340 children will wake up to Christmas this year — something that wouldn’t have been possible without this incredible community.

Because of generous donations, amazing Santa’s who sponsored angels through our Angel Tree, and volunteers who showed up with big hearts, kids enjoyed a movie, activities, stuffed animals donated from the Rough Riders, and a brand-new book thanks to Goodwill and the Rotary Club of Sun City.

Seeing the parents’ faces light up as we brought out the gifts that these generous Santa’s purchased for their children is something I will never forget. The gratitude, the relief, and the joy were overwhelming.

Sharing the heart of The Robert L. Howard Foundation and telling who Robert (Bobby) Howard was throughout the night brought me so much joy and peace. I know Bobby would feel deeply honored.

We are hosting our Christmas Wrapping Event on December 19th at Wellspring Church for 267 kids, and we would LOVE your help adding a little extra sweetness to the night!

We’re looking for donations of cookies, brownies, or any baked goodies to share with our amazing volunteers, kids, and families who come together to make Christmas magical for so many. ❤️
