🇺🇸 WE REMEMBER. WE HONOR. WE STAND TOGETHER. 🇺🇸

Today, South Shore Legacy Fund joins our community and our nation in remembering the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We honor the innocent lives taken, the first responders who ran toward danger, the families forever changed, and the countless Americans who answered the call to serve in the years that followed.

September 11 reminds us not only of one of our nation’s darkest days, but also of the incredible strength, courage, and unity of the American people.

May we never forget those we lost.
May we always honor those who served and sacrificed.
And may we never forget what it means to stand together as Americans.

❤️🤍💙 Proud to be American. Proud to serve our community.

🧤💚 A HUGE SHOUTOUT TO OUR AMAZING TEENS! 💚🧤

We also want to give some extra love to all of the amazing teenagers who came out to our Community Cleanup last Saturday! 🙌

These young people rolled up their sleeves, grabbed their gloves and got to work! 🗑️🌎 They spent their Saturday helping clean up our community, giving back, and making a real difference.

And yes, they’ll be receiving volunteer hours for their hard work, but what makes us even more proud is that they chose to spend their time helping make our community a better place. 💚

To every teen who showed up, picked up trash, worked hard, and helped wherever they were needed:

WE SEE YOU. WE APPRECIATE YOU. AND WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU! 👏💚

You are proof that the next generation is ready to step up and make a difference. 🌱✨

Thank you for showing up and showing out! We hope to see you back at the next one! 🧤🌎💚

🌎💚 WHAT A DAY! WHAT A COMMUNITY! 💚🌎

Last Saturday, our community came together for our annual Community Cleanup Event, and WOW… you all showed up and showed OUT! 🙌🧤🗑️

We want to send the BIGGEST THANK YOU to every single person who helped make the day such a success!

💚 To our amazing sponsors: Thank you for believing in our community and supporting our mission. Your generosity helps make events like this possible, and we are incredibly grateful for each and every one of you!

💚 To our community members: Thank you for taking time out of your Saturday to give back and help make our neighborhood a cleaner, brighter, more beautiful place to live.

💚 To all the families who came out: We loved seeing so many parents and kiddos working together! What a wonderful way to teach the next generation that taking care of our community is something we ALL can be a part of. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦💚

💚 To every volunteer who picked up a bag, grabbed a pair of gloves, hauled trash, or simply encouraged someone else to join in: YOU MATTER! Every little bit made a difference.

This event was about so much more than picking up litter. It was about community, connection, pride, and coming together to make a difference. 🌱

We are so incredibly thankful for everyone who showed up, showed out, and helped make our South Shore community shine! ✨

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! 💚

Until the next one… keep loving where you live! 🌎🧤💚

🎉 IT’S OFFICIAL — SOUTH SHORE LEGACY FUND IS A 501(c)(3)! 🎉

We are incredibly excited to announce that the South Shore Legacy Fund has received our official 501(c)(3) determination letter from the IRS!

Our tax-exempt status is retroactive to our date of inception, meaning we are officially recognized as a charitable nonprofit organization from the very beginning.

What makes this moment even more meaningful is how quickly we’ve gotten here.

When we started, we had a vision: build an organization that puts the South Shore community first, reinvests directly into the places we call home, and proves what can happen when local residents and businesses come together.

We’ve faced our share of negativity and doubt along the way; and in a strange way, we’re grateful for it. Every person who questioned what we were doing gave us even more drive to work harder, move faster, and prove what this organization could become.

We have also been incredibly blessed with donations, donated services, supplies, community partnerships, volunteers, and people who simply believed in what we were trying to accomplish. Those contributions have helped us get to this point while keeping our focus where it belongs: putting resources back into South Shore.

🌴 Stay tuned! We are already working on plans for our FIRST community beautification project! We can’t wait to share what we have in store and show what a community-powered organization can accomplish.

To everyone who has donated, volunteered, partnered with us, shared a post, offered advice, opened a door, or simply encouraged us — THANK YOU. You helped build this.

We said we wanted to build a better South Shore. Mean what you say, and say what you mean.
