Congratulations to Sarah Keal on an awesome Indiana State Fair! 🍀🏆 Sarah put in hours of hard work and preparation across several different 4-H projects this year, and her results certainly show it! 💚

State Fair Highlights for the Wicker girls:

Maggie won the Outstanding 4H Dairy Producer Contest. She received a $1500 scholarship and cash prizes for winning the management exam and showmanship sections and placing 3rd in the skill-a-thon. The scholarship and prizes are sponsored by the American Dairy Association of Indiana.

Evie placed 2nd in the Summer Junior 2 Year Old Jersey Class for both the 4H and Open shows. She was 3rd in Jersey Intermediate Showmanship. Her Floriculture project also received Blue.

Anna had 1st place Spring calf in the Red & White Open Show.

Way to represent Rush Co. 👏🏻🍀

Congrats to Sophie Tressler on finishing up at the Indiana State Fair strong!

Sophie placed 5th in obedience and 8th in Showmandship out of approximately 70.

She also received blues on her cake decorating and sewing projects! 👏🏻🍀

Hayden Roberts finished his final show as a 4H member at Indiana State Fair strong! He won Reserve Champion Blackface Cross Yearling Ewe. 👏🏻🍀

Addie Horn found success during the Boer and Myotonic shows at the Indiana State Fair.

Highlights include:
Grand Champion Fullblood Myotonic Doe in the Open Show, Champion Yearling in the 4-H show, and a return trip to the dirt with the Reserve Grand Champion Junior Percentage Doe, Pinky, who was raised by Addie. She also placed 6th in Senior Showmanship.

Way to go Addie!! 👏🏻🍀

The 4-H Poultry Show was was held the last few days of the Indiana State Fair and the Gettinger sisters had an exceptional show!
