Tai Chi: Enhance Your Mind & Body
Monday Evenings, 5:30 - 6:45 p.m.

Join instructor Lila Brown each week for Tai Chi. Learn the beginning of the Yang Style Short Form. Start with gentle Qi Gong exercises. Improve your flexibility, balance, breathing, strength, and posture while developing mental and spiritual awareness. Perfect for beginners and experienced students of all ages.

Students can sign up for six-week sessions for $30 or feel free to drop in for $8 per session. Payment for all sessions is accepted onsite by cash or check.

Join us for Drawing at the Sheldon Store on Wednesday, October 7 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. This community art night will meet on the first Wednesday of every month, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. We will provide a still life setup and drawing boards, but you can work on anything you like. Bring your own drawing materials. There will be folks on hand to offer guidance if you need it. Come draw and sketch with others. Have fun, learn and get inspired!

Join us for a Visible Mending Workshop on Sunday, October 18 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.

As the seasons change, it’s a beautiful time to turn our attention to the garments we love and prepare them for another winter. In this hands-on workshop, learn the art of woven visible mending and discover how holes and worn areas can become thoughtful, beautiful details. Through learning a new skill and working with your hands, we’ll slow down, reconnect with our garments, and explore repair as a way of caring for what we already have.
