Do you make the best apple pie in Rupert? We are celebrating America's 250th birthday by making a quintessentially American treat into a contest!

Contest Rules:

Contestants must bake two pies — one for judging and one for raffle/sale at the event!

Three winning pies (first, second, and third place) will be raffled to raise money for the library! The remaining pie will be available for sale by the slice. First place winner gets to ride on the R.K. Kittay Library Float at Rupert Old Home Days!

The event is open to the public.

Lemonade and other treats will also be available for purchase to benefit the library!

Join instructor Lila Brown for Tai Chi. Classes are offered Monday evenings, 5:30 - 6:45 p.m. (*no class August 17th and 24th).

Learn the beginning of the Yang Style Short Form. Start with gentle Qi Gong exercises. Improve your flexibility, balance, breathing, strength, and posture while developing mental and spiritual awareness. Perfect for beginners and experienced students of all ages.

Six sessions for $30 or feel free to drop in for $8 per session. Payment for all sessions is accepted onsite by cash or check.

Draw your set of tiles and score points by touching matching ends. The first player to use all their tiles gets a Domino and wins the points earned by the rest of the players during that round. The first player or team to get 250 points wins!
