A huge thank you to everyone that attended Corgis and Cars this year. We presented the check for $4,900 to the Minidoka Joint Powers Animal Control & Shelter last night at their meeting. They gave us a wonderful plaque in appreciation for all of our donations. You can stop and see it at the lodge. Thanks to the Idaho State Elks Association for the grant money. See you all next year!!

Hello All,

Hard to believe October is upon us and fall is here. Summer flew by, but I am ready for the cooler weather. October is the kids Halloween party, which will be held on the 28th of October at 6pm. Bring your little goblins and ghosts for fun and dinner. We look forward to seeing you.

Donations of candy are needed for the event. They can be dropped at the bar.

Thanksgiving will be chaired by our Lecturing Knight, Ben Lowe. If you would like to help please attend lodge or a planning meeting. We will be asking for turkey donations and will need help the week of Thanksgiving, so keep that in mind.
If you know of anyone who would make a good Elk, please don’t hesitate to propose them for membership. We always like to see new faces.

Enjoy the cooler weather.

It is difficult to believe it is September and we have all of our golf tournaments behind us. They were both fun and successful. Thanks Tim for all the hard work coordinating those. As Elks we have to continue giving back to our community. Please let me know if you would like to help us out at any of our events.

We have Thanksgiving coming up, where we need lots of members to help. It’s a great
way to get involved. Contact me or any of the officers for volunteer opportunities. We are also always open to new members so please let me or any of the officers know if you have someone you think would be a good Elk. Come see us at a meeting, come volunteer, get to know your fellow Elks and the good works that happen here.
