🎄 Rupert Police Officer Association – Christmas Family Sponsorship 🎄

This Christmas, the Rupert Police Officer Association would like to give back to a local family in our community who may be going through a difficult time.

We are looking for a family who could use a little extra help this holiday season. Our association will be sponsoring a family for Christmas and helping make the holiday a little brighter. ❤️🎁

Do you know a family who could benefit from some extra support this Christmas? We invite you to nominate a family, or if you are a family in need, you are welcome to reach out to us directly.

🛑 RED MEANS KIDS AHEAD. STOP FOR THE BUS! 🛑
"I was in a rush."
"I didn't see it."
"I thought I could make it."
NONE of these excuses matter when a child’s life is on the line. Every single day, drivers illegally pass stopped school buses, putting our community's children at extreme risk. Let's make it simple: When the red lights flash and the stop arm extends, you MUST stop.
No exceptions. It is the law in all 50 states.

Know the rules of the road:
👉 Two-Lane Roads: Both directions MUST stop.
👉 Multi-Lane Roads (Paved across): Both directions MUST stop.👉 Divided Highways (with an unpaved median or physical barrier): Only traffic following the bus must stop. (Be sure to check your specific state laws!).
Yellow school buses are bright for a reason—so you can see them. Put down the distractions, slow down in school zones, and always be prepared for children crossing.Nothing on your schedule is worth more than a child's life.
