The Catty Shack . This is a place where lost an abandoned cats come to get healthy and find forever homes. We will have family friendly events to fund raise for the cats.

Our hope is to help fix all feral & non feral cats and help with the population of unwanted kittens and cats on our mountain. We will be having events for locals to show off their art or passions. We are on Amazon smile if you would like to donate items for the furbabies. We also have pay pal or venmo. Grateful for any and all donations. Our PO Box is 193, Running Springs,Ca 92382.

Even though we are permanently closed, we have not been able to find homes for the last of the CattyShack furbabies. we have been fostering them in the meantime, but would love to be able to close the chapter out and they would love to be able to have their forever home. They are so loving and would love the opportunity to meet you and become a part of your family. Mister and Tabs are bonded they would need to go together. Echo and Sam are very bonded too. We would love for these guys to be able to stay togther.

***Update:I think we have it figured out for now. If you know of anybody that would be willing to foster some cats, I do have a friend that could really use the help. She was not able to take her cats to where she got evacuated to. Please reach out if you’re able to help. 

Hey there, Catty Shack peeps we have evacuated and we are down the hill, but we are in need of some bigger cages if you have borrowed a big cage from us in the past please reach out if it is available so we can come and get it. We still have 11 cats and if anybody is willing to give them shelter until we can go back, that would be amazing. we are all doubled up in cages right now, but would like to get them comfortable as we can while we’re waiting.

This Friday, August 30th will be the official closing of this cat rescue.I want to thank all the people that have helped with these beautiful cats. This page will be deleted but watch out for the new business when they are ready to make a page. Now to update those that don't know, this property will be ran and will be owned to Running Springs resident(s), Briana Ochoa with help from Tiffany Koelliker-Beckhorn. Tiffany has been here day one with me, I don't have words to describe these two young ladies except I love them and loved watching them grow into the business ladies they are today. ♥️ They have the same mission as I to make a place for the community to enjoy. Also they have tons of people they know in the community to help build their dreams ♥️. To Diane, Rita and Melissa, this crew has helped so much and I love them all for all they have done too keep the cats clean and safe and loved also helping me deal with all my mental issues. I am ready for my next journey in this life ♥️. Time for us to get back to nature, peace and family. Thanks again to those that were parts of the great memories I am taking with me ♥️♥️ Laura

We even sing to them as we are here caring for them. We definitely try to spoil them as much as we can. This wasn’t supposed to be there forever. This was supposed to be a transitional home for them to find their forever and now we are closing for good. Please help us find them homes. They are all loving. They will be worth it.
