The Share Project The Share Concept

The concept of The Share Project is simple: people giving to each other without expectation of return or personal gain.

It is a community of giving and receiving freely with like-minded families, individuals, businesses or groups. We want to encourage you to look at this as an opportunity to, first of all, meet needs and have your needs met. This is not meant to be a "free shopping mall". Obviously, many of our members will want to give and receive non-essentials, but we encourage you to carefully evaluate your nee

d for something before requesting it. For example, you may have a decent sofa or stroller, but you see a "better" one on The Share Project. You may want to first see if there is someone who doesn't have one at all before "upgrading". It isn't our objective to be the share police, we want this to be a simple and free-moving community. We simply want you to understand the heart behind the design, and request that you come to this community with a similar heart yourself. The very nature of the share project is that people may give items or resources they no longer need to others who need those items thus we require that all items listed for share are 100% free to the receiver, except for any necessary shipping costs to receive the items listed by another member. Any other methods of sharing, such as bartering, can be conducted between members personally. Our Model:

Our model is based on uniting people on a local level. You may be one of the first members in your area, so you are the pioneer! We have created many resources to help you get the word out so you can begin connecting and sharing with people in your own community. All it takes is one person to reach out an lend a hand to someone else in need and it starts a chain reaction of giving. We need your help to start that chain reaction! Features and benefits

Had a great time down at Water of Life Community Church with the Men's Ministry! I got to share about The Share Project with a few hundred men, we'll see what happens! How awesome would it be to see the movement towards unity and selfless giving begin to take hold in the Fontana / Rancho area!
