Labor Day is more than just the unofficial end of summer it’s a chance to pause and give thanks to the labor movement. Because of the hard work and sacrifices of those who came before us, we have the 40-hour workweek, weekends, fair pay, safer workplaces, and the right to stand together as a union. Today we celebrate their courage and remind ourselves that the work we do matters, not just for us, but for the generations that follow.
