Truly remarkable. Congratulations, Rugby Agricultural Education! ๐ŸŒŸ This is a prestigious honor that pays tribute to our Agriculture Education program right here in Rugby. Awards of this magnitude do not happen by chance. They are a result of hard work, dedication, and commitment by our students, devoted instructors, and a community that supports this program endlessly. There are over 9,400 Ag Education programs in the United States, and our community of Rugby ND holds one of the top six best programs. The recognition is derived from a combination of classroom instruction, work-based learning, FFA involvement and community support.

Agriculture Education programs are increasingly recognized as critical pathways for preparing students for careers in agriculture,
business, skilled trades, and other high-demand industries. It is not limited to Agriculture alone.

Miss Tonnessen and Mr. Ripplinger work hard to ensure the success of every student far beyond grades 7-12, with proven results.

Thank you to our fearless leaders of our Rugby Agriculture Education department and thank you to our community for always showing up with the utmost support to keep this program thriving for years to come. ๐Ÿ’™

Rugby Agricultural Education recently received notification that we won the National Association of Agricultural Educators Region III Most Outstanding Middle School/Secondary Program! The country is divided into 6 regions. We advanced to the region level after winning in North Dakota and were fortunate enough to be named one of the 6 nationally recognized programs!

This is a culmination of classroom instruction, laboratory experiences, work-based learning opportunities, FFA, and community partnerships! We are always so thankful for a community that supports us in not only FFA, but through all of our agricultural education experiences! AgEd is what is best for ALL kids!

Congrats, Rugby FFA! ๐ŸŒŸ You continue to make us so proud.
Best of luck to our students competing at State and representing our community!

Day 1 of State Convention was a blur! We have 46 members competing throughout the next three days. Today, our chapter was recognized with the State Superior Chapter Award and the National Chapter Award. We are one of 10 chapters moving on to the national level for application judging. While this is an officer team & chapter accomplishment, Tailyr Bush & Opal Hackel represented our 25-26 officer team on stage!
